SIhaM SAlaH
Siham is a self-taught Edmonton-based landscape artist who works mainly with water-mixable oil colours and gouache paint. A principal theme in Siham’s work is expressing time through the change in seasons, defining warmth with the transformation of landscapes from dawn to dusk. With her growing body of work, she offers an array of city skylines, forest-fields and mountain-cliffs enhanced by a tranquil and serene quality of selective tones.
Siham has showcased her paintings at the Art Mentorship Society of Alberta and has worked with the Islamic family on projects like the Nour box and the 2022 Ramadhan calendar. By sharing her art on @turtlescanpaint, she hopes to inspire others to begin creating art in their own way and is currently working on opening her online print shop in due time. When not painting, Siham loves developing websites, drinking tea, and watching period dramas
